Content of the Workshop
The Austrian Energy Agency (AEA), with the support of the Ukrainian National Agency for Energy Efficiency (NAER) and in cooperation with the IG Passivhaus Tirol and further experts from Austrian and Ukrainian Organisations organised a two day workshop in regard to “The use of Bioenergy in private housing - Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in the building sector”.
Intention of the Workshop
The workshop brought together various experts to discuss the current status, barriers and opportunities to harness the vast potential of renewable energy sources in Ukraine and especially in the Lviv region. It was the aim to share knowledge and exchange experiences in regard to technologies and political framework conditions for a broad market penetration of the use of Bionergy in the building sector and low energy building standard, which should further support the successful development of the Ukrainian market.
